Saying goodbye to Weatherfield! Natalie Gumede

She's been involved in one of the most talked about storylines in Coronation Street history.
But actress Natalie Gumede has revealed that she will be leaving the ITV soap after just 18 months, marking the end of Kirsty and Tyrone's destructive relationship.
Announcing the news via her Twitter account, the 28-year-old said that she would be filming her character's final scenes next week.

'I can now confirm what you all suspected: #Corrie is on a Kirsty countdown!! The last 18 months have been incredible, thank you all so much!' she wrote on Friday.
There has been much speculation over the storyline, which has seen Tyrone arrested after being falsely accused of domestic violence by Natalie's character, with two endings being filmed.
One ending will see Tyrone being cuffed and sent down - the other, his pretty almost wife, caged for lying to the jury.

While it has been suspected that Kirsty would get her comeuppance, details have been kept under wraps by ITV, but Natalie's departure seems to suggest that Tyrone will be released from jail.

Her co-star Alan has also recently received some life-changing news, as his wife and former co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson is expecting their first child.
