Day of indulgence: Helen Flanagan

She's not exactly known for covering up her famous curves, rarely spotted leaving the house without something exposed.
But Helen Flanagan looked surprisingly covered up as she hit the shops on Tuesday, opting for a warm-looking fur-trimmed gilet and scarf.
Looking demure, the actress treated herself to a day of indulgence with a friend as they browsed the shops in Wilmslow before having a spot of lunch.

The 22-year-old hasn't exactly been taxing herself since leaving Corrie last year, but obviously thought that she deserved a girls' day out.

But instead of dolling herself up, the starlet could have passed for any other shopper in the modest attire.
Having ditched her favourite bright pink for the day, Helen wore a pair of blue denim jeans and fairly low-heeled black leather boots.

Trying to blend in? Helen could have been mistaken for any other shopper as she wandered around in her low-key outfit, in a change from her typical style

But the model couldn't stay away from bright colours all together, adding a stand-out red jumper to the look, covered with the gillet.
She wore her blonde hair in her tried and tested top knot, scraping it back from her face into a tight bun, showing off a face of carefully applied make-up.
Helen linked arms with her female pal as she wandered into one of the boutiques and then started chatting and giggling as they left, strolling together up the road.
Feeling the cold? Although she usually steps out without a coat and scarf, Helen went for the sensible option on Tuesday, clearly wanting to be warm

Ditched the glamour: The usually dolled up actress clearly decided to go for an understated outfit for her day out, but still opted for a bright red jumper

Deep in conversation: The blonde starlet seemed to be having an in depth conversation with her pal, leaning their heads in together as they chatted

And the girls seemed to have had an eventful day, as Helen later wrote on Twitter: 'Had a lovely with my @sarahbeth_x belle risotto mozzarella cocktails tooting exciting plans tattoos and les mis x love you @sarahbeth_x.'
The former soap star recently revealed that she once had to have a whole hotel evacuated after she discovered a man hiding under her bed.
Speaking to Star Magazine, she said: 'I remember once being in a hotel and seeing a man under the bed and I completely freaked out.
'I was absolutely terrified and thought I was going to die. The whole hotel had to be evacuated and put on security lockdown.
'They checked all the CCTV and the police were called, then I realised that it was just a reflection under the mirror. I tend to do really stupid things like that,' she revealed.

One for your ex? Newly single Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley

When it comes to dealing with love lost there are two routes a person can take.
And for newly single Catherine Tyldesley instead of taking on the heartbreak diet, she started a new health kick to get her body ready for summer.
Showing her former toyboy Sam Witter, 22, just what he's let go, the 29-year-old uploaded a post-workout picture to her Twitter account on Sunday.

Rounding up a session at Hale Country Club & Spa in Chesire, Catherine pulled out her mobile to take a sultry snap.
Sitting on an exercise bench opposite a mirror, the Coronation Street actress kept her head down as she donned a purple vest top with cropped leggings and trainers.

Wearing her blonde hair in a loose bun, the message which accompanied the photo read: 'Left a nice trail of sweat around @HaleCountryClub #nice #smashedit #hurryupsummer'.
And remaining in high spirits despite her recent breakup, in another post she wrote: 'Good health is the greatest of all gifts. Cherish it!'
Hours after her gym session, it seems the actress slipped up on her fitness regime as she indulged in some chocolate.
Posting a hilarious picture of herself with chocolate smothered over her lips on on her fingers, she tweeted: 'Chocolate? What chocolate?? Nothing to see... Back off!'

Catherine, who credited Sam with helping her slim down to a size 10, told pals the split was a mutual decision and added both were upset at the news.
According to reports, the pair called time on their union after Tyldesley told Witter she was 'desperate to start a family'.
A source told The Daily Mirror: 'They have just grown apart. The age gap was an issue because they want different things.
'Cath is at a stage where she wants to settle down and Sam is still only 22 so he just isn't ready for that sort of commitment.'

Has hell frozen over? Helen Flanagan gets an attack of modesty

She not be the sharpest soap star in the shed but Helen Flanagan is at least good at one thing, posing.
So onlookers were left puzzled as to whether hell had frozen over as the 22-year-old actress and reality star furiously tried to hide her face as she left a beauty spa in Cheshire.
Perhaps the blonde, who played Dozy Rosie in Coronation Street until 2011, had a rather intrusive treatment or was just simply feeling a little tired as she left the spa.

Blonde Helen, who had admitted she doesn't know how to style her own hair, looked like she was finding it difficult to get to grips with her Land Rover as she tried to leave the car park.
Keeping her usually flawless skin covered Helen looked more like Phonejacker than a cover star.
And Helen, who is known for her open Twitter messages, has been sharing that she was heading to Black Dog Bowl on Thursday evening - after writing the day before she had terrible PMS.
Her usual modesty comes just days after Helen posed provocatively to launch late night ten pin bowling venue Dog Bowl - the third venture from Black Dog Ballroom.

As well as bowling lanes, the venue includes Black Dog Ballroom's speakeasy and diner - serving good and drinks including cocktails, quesadillas, BBQ grilled steak, fried chicken and fajitas late into the night.
Dog Bowl opens on Thursday 2 April following a VIP launch party on Thursday 28 March.

From Weatherfield to Hollywood: Corrie's Catherine Tyldesley

She may be more accustomed to the cobbles of Weatherfield than the bright lights of the Hollywood Hills.
But Catherine Tyldesley oozed movie star chic as she stepped out to a breast cancer charity event at Manchester's Australasia restaurant on Tuesday night.
Keeping the cold weather at bay, the Coronation Street star wrapped up in a glamorous fur coat that wouldn't have looked out of place on the big screen sirens of days gone by.

Ensuring the rest of her look was equally attention-grabbing, the 29-year-old actress wore her long blonde locks swept to the side in perfect Hollywood curls, while opting for dramatic pillar box red lipstick and fluttering lashes.

Underneath her coat, the soap beauty wore a chic black pencil dress, while teetering on skyscraper black stiletto heels as she arrived at the stylish eatery.
Catherine completed her look with a simple white clutch bag and dramatic gold earrings for her evening out on the town.

What made the star's ensemble perhaps even more impressive was the fact that she gave herself just 20 minutes to get ready after accidentally falling asleep before heading out.
Writing on her Twitter page prior to the event, she said: 'Falling asleep and leaving yourself 20 mins to get ready #notclever.'
But it would appear a night out played havoc with the Corrie starlet's sleeping patterns, as she admitted she was reaching for the coffee on Wednesday morning.

She tweeted: 'Eugh... Worst nights sleep #zombie. coffee time....several coffees methinks...'
Catherine, who has played Eva Green in Coronation Street since 2011, has slimmed down from a size 22 10 years ago to her current svelte size 10 figure, and credits her personal trainer boyfriend, Sam Witter with helping her stay in shape.
She recently said: 'Most people's New Year's resolution is to get fit and lose weight but so many quit after a small amount of time. It all about finding a way of keeping going.'

She's such a Barbie girl: Helen Flanagan

teased into bombshell curls.Since leaving Coronation Street in 2012, Helen Flanagan's life really has been one fantastic party.

The former soap star may not be making waves in the world of television with her amazing acting talent, but she is making sure the world notices her one way or another.

The 22-year-old did her best Barbie impression as she attended the grand opening of Black Dog Bowl, on Thursday night in Manchester.

Dressed in bright pink Helen drew attention to herself as she colour coordinated her Topshop dress with her trademark pout.

The actress wore a plunging open collared shirt dress that was striped pink and white.

She reigned in the loose fitting top with a thick white belt which pulled in at the waist and gave Helen a little bit more shape.

Proving that she truly is a real life Barbie, the celebrity matched her lipstick to her top and her large Chanel handbag.

Although she didn't wear a coat Helen did beat the cold with a pair of thick tights and completed her outfit with black heels.

Earlier this week, Helen was pictured in the bowling alley doing her best to make the new hangout look as raunchy as she could.

She sported a variety of eye-catching ensembles for the shoot, although stopped short of actually wearing the infamously ugly bowling shoes herself.

Instead, Helen opted for a strappy pair of orange sandals as she posed next to a rack of the footwear.

The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here contestant wasn't the only ex Corrie star to turn up to the opening.

Tina O'Brien and her boyfriend Adam Crofts rocked up to see the new cool lanes and current Weatherfield star Jack P Sheppard also attended.
