So she can do ladylike: Helen Flanagan

She's known for often wearing flesh baring bad taste outfits, but it seems Helen Flanagan can get it spot on when she needs to.
The soap star put the rest of the stars in the shade on Wednesday afternoon as she attended the Lorraine High Street Fashion Awards.
And the 22-year-old showed she can do ladylike chic as she turned up in a demure outfit.

Helen opted for a black pencil skirt which hung just below her knees with a girly ruffled hemline.
She completed the look with a high neck white top tucked in and high peep toe heels.
And to accessorise with the monochrome theme she chose a white headband which she tied into a bow on top of her head.

Although she still gave a hint of the usual Helen Flanagan by wearing a pink handbag over her shoulder and co-ordinating with a slick of sugar pink lipstick.
She posed next to a sign which read: 'Don't walk, strut,' as she arrived at the fashion themed bash.
The Coronation Street star was joined by Kelly Brook, who poured her curves into a black knee-length frock with lace detailing across her chest.

Chloe Madeley, meanwhile, opted to show off as much flesh as possible in a bright pink playsuit, which even gave a hint of side boob.
Clearly feeling confident, she posed up a storm showing off all of her sides as she swirled around for the cameras.
Liz McClarnon opted for trousers as she wore beige skinnies with an orange peplum top, and Michelle Collins also went for a bright ensemble in a tangerine dress with checked top half.

Soap stars and pop stars were among the guests at Lorraine’s High Street Fashion Awards, along with the celebrated brands from the British High Street.
Stepping out at The East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf, presenter Lorraine Kelly, along with fellow panelists Kelly Brook, stylist Mark Heyes and Look magazine editor Ali Hall, announced the winners of the six categories voted for by Lorraine viewers during the glitzy ceremony.

Winners of Lorraine’s High Street Fashion Awards were Primark (best affordable), Boohoo (best online), Debenhams (best department store), River Island (best trendsetter), New Look (best shoes) and French Connection (best premium).

Over the past four weeks, Lorraine, Kelly, Mark and Ali have previewed the shortlisted brands with in each category.
Lorraine Kelly said: 'It has been great to showcase the best of the British high street over the past month and to recognise all those great brands that manage to keep us all up to date with the latest fashion trends at an affordable price.
'I’m delighted for all the Lorraine High Street Fashion Award winners.'

Stylist Mark Heyes added: 'Once again, the Lorraine High Street Fashion Awards have highlighted the brilliant brands we have on the British high street. The everyday person really can get the latest designer catwalk looks from the great stores we have on our doorstep.'
Model and TV personality Kelly said: 'I love the British high street - no matter what the latest trend you can always find a fashion that suits you and your shape.'
The awards ceremony will be broadcast on Lorraine on Thursday morning.
