The 25-year-old, who plays Tina McIntyre on the soap, was joined at the event by her boyfriend Mark Wright who was no doubt delighted his girlfriend received the accolade.
And despite winning the award four times before, Michelle, who certainly looked very sexy on the night, insisted that she was in shock.

The gown, which featured silver detailing, fell in all the right places accentuating not only her cleavage but her curves.
Her long dark hair fell down her back and she kept her make up subtle yet stunning with just black eyeliner.

Michelle’s win helped Coronation Street dominate the ceremony scooping a total of eight out of 16 awards including Best Soap.
Meanwhile, EastEnders, which was named Best Soap at the Baftas earlier this month, took home just one award, a Lifetime Achievement award for Adam Woodyatt, who has played Ian Beale for 28 years.
ITV soap Corrie proved a hit with fans taking home three out of five of the public-voted awards, with Alan Halsall winning Best Actor and Natalie Gumede, who played his character Tyrone Dobbs' abusive partner Kirsty Soames, being named Villain of the Year.
