But Helen Flanagan appeared to be using her tiny swimwear in an attempt to land herself a role in the hotly-anticipated Baywatch movie as she holidayed in Dubai recently.
Hoping for a role in the Baywatch movie? Helen
Flanagan showed she has mastered the art of slow motion bikini run;ning
on her recent holiday to Dubai
Sprightly: Helen showed off her figure in a tiny turquoise two-piece as she bounded along the beach
The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant took the opportunity to prove that she has well and truly mastered the art of slow motion running in a tiny two-piece as she made the most of the sunshine break.
Helen sported a barely-there turquoise cut-out bikini as she bounded along the sands, wearing a wide smile on her face and her blonde hair piled on top of her head in a messy topknot.
The 22-year-old appeared entirely aware of the photographer on the beach as she leaped around, darting in and out of the water with grace.
Jumping for joy: Helen, 22, looked incredibly energetic as she bounced up and down on the sands
Perfect from every angle: Helen well and truly ensured that she looked perfect from every angle
Soaking up the sunshine: Helen is more often seen in her bikini than in clothes
Later in the day, Helen took some time off from being photographed as she soaked up the sun on a lounger.
The actress was seen being served drinks by a waiter on the beach, but still managed to pose for a photo as she rose to sign the bill.
If Helen was to be snapped up for a role in the Baywatch movie, it would mark her first acting part since she left Coronation Street in February 2012.
Cooling off: After the apparently impromptu shoot, Helen cooled down with a dip in the sea
Splash! Helen screamed with delight as one particularly strong wave caught her off-guard
Covering up: Helen was later seen wearing a floaty skirt over her bikini as she headed back inside her hotel
She said at the time: 'I have played Rosie for more than half my life and I feel the time has come for me to move on and try something new.
'I am very excited about what the future might hold for me. I have loved playing Rosie and during my time growing up on Corrie I have made some amazing friends and learned an awful lot.'
So Helen could certainly do worse than a role in the big-screen version of Baywatch.
While details for the film remain scarce, the project is believed to focus on 'lifeguards exploring an oil rig off the Malibu coast that turns out to be a meth lab'.
Every moment's a photo opp: Helen even managed to pose as she rose off her sunlounger to sign her bill
