Michelle Collins leaving off party

Michelle Collins handed in her notice to quit Coronation Street recently after gruelling schedules and 250-mile weekend commutes from London to the Manchester studios left her feeling like a 'zombie.'
So on Tuesday night, the actress headed to her leaving party at Neighbourhood restaurant in Manchester with a select few cast members.
The 51-year-old, who stepped into the shoes of Rovers Return landlady, Stella Price, three years ago, will leave the ITV soap in June and will film her final scenes next week.

Michelle looked ever so stylish in a practical ensemble which kept her warm in the cold, wintry weather.
She wore a brown furry jacket with black skinny jeans and heeled ankle boots as well as a black, leather CĂ©line handbag. She added a black beanie hat and smiled for photographers.
Joining her on her big night were Corrie cast members; Michelle Keegan [Tina McIntyre], Katy Cavanagh, [Julie Carp] and Helen Worth [Gail Platt], Jane Danson [Leanne Tilsley], Sally Dynevor, [Sally Webster] and clothes designer Nadine Merabi.

Michelle recently told The Sun newspaper: 'I threw myself wholeheartedly into Corrie but I ended up spreading myself too thinly. The tiredness is the worst, it can make you a zombie.
'Work is fantastic, but it's not the be-all and end-all. You have to have some quality of life as well. If you don't have a work-life balance it can drive you a bit crazy I can't be Superwoman. I just can't do everything.
'Once I made four journeys between London and Manchester in one day. Another time I crashed into a parked car after a long journey. I knew the travel wouldn't be easy, but I didn't realise how hard it would be.'

Michelle clearly wants to be around for her 18-year-old daughter Maia, from her relationship with former boyfriend Fabrizio Tassalini.
And it sounds like her next career move will enable her to be at home more often, because Michelle is currently writing her autobiography.
The book will detail her battles with eating disorders, how she walked out of her wedding to entrepreneur Parry Cockwell, as well as her court battle with Tassalini for custody of her daughter.
She recently said in a statement: 'I've been asked many times to write my story but the time has never been right. Now it's the right time.'

At just 23, the star has almost grown up on-screen, joining the cast of Coronation Street in 2010 as much-loved but troubled teenager Katy Armstrong.

But there doesn’t seem to be any trouble in stunning Georgia’s life as off-screen she’s perfectly settled with her childhood sweetheart John Sage, who’s a plumber by trade.
The pair were both out for the star’s birthday in Ireland, and posed together for a series of pictures.Georgia wore her long brunette hair down with a corkscrew curl giving her the lengths some serious pizazz.

Shining like a star in her brightly coloured dress she wore a gold bangle and black stilettos for the birthday party.
The youngster paired her outfit with a black clutch bag and simple make-up – heavily defining her eyebrows as is currently fashionable.
And it could be a big year for Georgia with the impending departure of Michelle Keegan from Wetherfield, it looks like Coronation Street bosses are pulling out the money bags to keep other female actresses from leaving.

According to the Sun on Sunday, Georgia and co-star Paula Lane, who plays Kylie Platt, have had their salaries boosted to £100,000 a year, with the promise of juicier storylines, having signed new 12-month deals.
It is believed that show boss Stuart Blackburn has made the move to ensure Keegan's sexy void is filled once her character Tina McIntyre bids farewell to the cobbles.

Michelle Keegan wears polka dot shirt for dinner

Lovebirds Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright braved the cold weather for dinner in Manchester on Friday night.
And though Michelle stood out in a brown and white polka dot shirt, she looked like she could have benefited from a coat of some sort.
The Corrie star and her fiancé Mark left the Australasia restaurant hand-in-hand after a quiet evening just the two of them.

Mark, 27, travelled up from Essex to see Michelle, 26, and looked smart in a fitted three-quarter length coat, grey jumper and shirt combo, skinny jeans and black shoes.
His wife-to-be showed off her skinny legs in imitation leather leggings and towering black ankle boots to match for their romantic dinner.
But soon, the couple won't have to travel back and forth from the South to the North of England to see each other, once the big change in Michelle's career takes effect.

Michelle has played Tina McIntyre since 2007, and her character is currently embroiled in a love affair with married bookmaker Peter Barlow.
Michelle recently opened up about leaving the soap, telling Hello magazine: 'Corrie is all I've known since I got into acting. I'm really excited because it's going to be a massive, explosive ending.

'It's not been an easy decision to make and it's taken a long time for me to say 100 per cent I'm definitely going, but I've got my head round it now and I know that I made the right decision. I'm excited for it now to say goodbye not only to Corrie but to Tina.'
Meanwhile, Mark used the occasion to chat about the pair's upcoming wedding, admitting that the couple have nearly chosen a venue for the big day.
He told The Sun: 'It's going well, we've got it down to two venues and it'll definitely be down south. We're nearly there. My best man will probably be my brother Josh.'
Mark added he is keen to have his stag do in Las Vegas.

Sack the hair stylist! Helen Flanagan

She recently embraced her fiery side by dying her locks a vibrant shade of red.
But Helen Flanagan is clearly not tired of experimenting as she showed off a somewhat bizarre ombre look.
The former Coronation Street star, who previously sported bright red locks, debuted an auburn hued look for a shopping trip in Birmingham on Sunday.

‘I would love to fly over to the Cannes Film Festival this year. We could do some networking and the parties sound fun too,’ she told The Sun.
‘This year I'm just going to concentrate on my acting. I've been in Coronation Street since I was nine-years-old. I'm an actress and I'm definitely ready to get a really good film role.’
But she also added that a stint in the Celebrity Big Brother House would also appeal to her.
She said: ‘I've loved CBB this year. It's been really entertaining, brilliant viewing. I'd go into the Big Brother house.’

Helen Flanagan tries to prove she's simply the breast

She has been involved in a rather public spat with CBB star Luisa Zissman about who has the best chest.
And on Saturday evening Helen Flanagan seemed hell bent on proving the crown should go to her as she opted to go braless in a daringly low-cut dress.
The 23-year-old turned heads as she stepped out for dinner at Zuma in the racy number, while showing off her newly dyed red hair.

The one-time Coronation Street star defied the chilly weather wearing the summery frock without a jacket to keep her warm.
Not only did it fall almost to her naval but it showed off plenty of leg – reaching to the middle of her thighs.
Adding a touch of colour she wore a pair of fun green open-toe heels, which worked perfectly with her newly dyed hair which she revealed last week.
