I'm happy with where my body is - Catherine Tyldesley

Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley is feeling happy again despite her recent split from boyfriend and personal trainer, Sam Witter.
The Rovers Return favourite says she is comfortable with her looks. 'I’m happy where my body is now, I’m never going to be, or want to be, skinny.'
Catherine, 29, who plays Eva Price in Coronation Street was once a size 22 and 15 stone. She is now a svelte four-and-a-half stone lighter.

She reveals her weight-loss tips as well as her battle with depression which pushed her into transforming her life.

'Everything has improved; my energy levels, my skin, my hair.
'And exercise raises endorphins, which make you feel happy,' she told Star magazine.

'I just feel an all-round improvement and hopefully people can relate to me.'
Catherine keeps exercise a priority and works hard with personal trainer Nick Mitchell.
'He’s very mean – but he’s very good at what he does! We do weights and interval training together.'
'I wanted to shop in the same places as my friends and wear clothes like them but I was too big. That’s why I want to help people.'
To keep her figure in tip-top condition, Catherine doesn't eat processed foods or junk foods.
Instead, she sticks to eating a lot of green veg and protein.
However, she doesn't cut out carbohydrates completely.
'It’s how I’ve managed to keep the weight off this time around,' she says. 'Fad diets don’t work.'
Before Catherine shed the weight, the actress admits to being very unhappy, over-indulging in comfort foods like cake and pizza.
'Yes, it was a really, horribly depressing time. All my friends were lean and athletic, and I was huge.'

The Corrie star is keen to eat sensibly and help others to beware the health dangers of anorexia.

'Exercise can become addictive, and I’ve had friends with eating disorders,' warns the soap star favourite.
But Catherine has no intentions of giving up her favourite treats, and believes it's important to keep fun and happiness a top priority.
'You’ve got to be able to have a bit of chocolate and enjoy yourself,' she says.
'I would never deprive my body of what it needs. Health and happiness are key.'
The Manchester-born star is also determined not to be bullied by Twitter trolls who blasted her for posting pictures of herself in the gym.
She laughs it off by saying: 'I just thought the pictures were funny as I looked like a sweaty Betty!
'I only did it for my Twitter followers, as I get really sad letters from women who are desperate for weight-loss advice.
’I’m into positive energy and anyone that’s negative; that’s their issue.'
The busy actress has been spending her free time catching up with friends and having fun since splitting from her boyfriend.
There’s no hard feelings with her ex, as she explains, 'Sam’s still a lovely guy and he can do what he wants. We’re not together.'

Helen Flanagan is almost unrecognisable

With a new hairstyle and a slightly more subtle wardrobe Helen Flanagan is definitely a woman in transition.
The former Coronation Street star was almost unrecognisable as she embarked on a shopping trip in Manchester on Monday.
The 22-year-old looked very different to her usual style as she sported a large braid in her blonde hair as she hit some designer stores.

Her latest hairstyle gave her a very different look to the trademark large bun she has favoured so often in the past.
As well as a new more elegant hairdo Helen also moderated her dress sense and for once was not showing off any of her cleavage in a low cut top.
The footballing WAG looked pretty in a attention grabbing pink jacket which she teamed with a cute white blouse.

She may not be the big soap star she once was when she was a regular face on the cobbles of Weatherfield, but Helen must have felt like one in her special trousers.
The curvy blonde wore a pair of three-quarter length trousers that were covered in red, white and blue stars.
Helen completed her outfit by teetering along in a pair of platform heels as she carried her Prada handbag on one arm, with her Louis Vuitton purchase on the other.
The small screen star is set to make her big screen debut after it was revealed that she had landed a role in a gritty project entitled Bitch - about a victim of bullying.

Speaking about the part , Helen said: 'It's really gritty and it's terrible actually because it's based on a true story. It’s tragic. The girls who did it are in prison now.'
But following the film, Helen is keen to try her luck in a more comedic role.
Asked if she'd ever return to her role as Rosie Webster in Coronation Street, Helen said: 'Yeah, I'd never rule anything out. Obviously my character was a comedy character and it's really sweet when people say they miss me on Corrie.
'Comedy is something that I'd like to get into.'

'Naughty friends at work': Coronation Street stars

Coronation Street stars have accidentally revealed the new Rovers Return by posting photos on Twitter.
The ITV soap’s iconic pub was set alight by Weatherfield bad boy Karl Munro - played by John Michie - last month.
But the cast have given fans a glimpse at the new set through the social-networking site and TV bosses are furious the secret is blown.

A show insider told The Sun newspaper: 'The Twitter stuff has been getting out of hand recently, with people posting all kinds of photos which could be detrimental to the show.
'The bosses would rather people didn’t know what the Rovers looks like ahead of time, and these snaps clearly blew that.'
One of the photos leaked by Simon Gregson - known as cabbie Steve McDonald - shows Kym Lomas (Michelle Connor), Craig Charles (Lloyd Mullaney) and Alison King (Carla Connor) eating peanuts in the newly decorated boozer, despite the rule being no mobile phones on set.
Simon seemed to know they may end up in trouble, with a caption attached to the photo reading: 'Naughty friends at work I give it 3 minutes before we're told off (sic).'

The source added: 'Mobile phones are not allowed on set as part of general studio protocol.
'The memo that mentioned this was not prompted by a specific incident.'
Another photo shows Tony Hirst sitting in the newly decorated pub, which leaves viewers questioning whether his character Paul will leave the cobbles following the traumatic event - in which his friend and colleague Toni died - and he broke-up with Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver).
The entire set of the soap is currently being rebuilt in the Salford area of Manchester, north west England, to give it a fresh look.

The sneak peaks of the interior come a week after Coronation Street bosses released the first picture of MediaCityUK, where they are building their new set in Salford and moving from Manchester.
And although the sprawling 7.7-acre base is still under construction, some of the Street's famous landmarks and houses are starting to take shape as some of the nation's treasured soap landmarks.
A spokesman for the award-winning soap said every landmark must be copied faithfully and builders are laying up to 11,000 cobbles, 19,000 bricks and using seven colours of mortar so it will stand up to scrutiny on HD TV screens.

It makes a change from when producers shot the very first episode of the soap in 1960 in an indoor studio so basic the now famous cobbles were painted on the studio floor.
While the new set will retain all the key features of the old, it will be built to a larger ratio in order to allow greater production flexibilities during the daily shoots.
The Rovers Return, The Kabin, Dev's corner shop and more will all find their new home at the site which will be built using the best building materials possible for more vibrant visibility in HD quality.

Although the new Weatherfield is really beginning to take shape, the finished site won't be ready until next year at the earliest, with construction taking place until the end of the year.

She's got the love! Kym Lomas

She may have left a few of her loved ones at home, but Kym Lomas looked as though she was carrying all of their hearts with her in a cute dress on Friday.
The actress had travelled to Ireland to take part in a radio show.
Arriving to the Dublin-based radio station, Kym, 36, looked pretty in the patterned blue dress.

She wore her raven-coloured hair down but pulled back with black Alice band.

With a chill still in the air, Kym wore opaque tights to go with her black platform heels.
The Coronation Street actress had been invited to chat with Ray D'Arcy on Today FM and clearly enjoyed her time on air.

'@todayfmofficial ahhh thanks for having me on guys!! Had a lovely time!! Funny!!' She tweeted after the radio spot.
Kym, who is married to former Hollyoak's star Jamie Lomas, brought her daughter Emily along for the trip, and took her 15-year old and make-up team for a spot of lunch in the capital.
She tweeted a picture of her girly crew with the message: 'Lunch with our gorgeous hair and make up girlies today @ro_malone @adriennecampion fun times!!! X'
Using the social networking platform has proved trying for the actress who recently hit out at a mystery online stalker who has been trying to create accounts in her children's names.

The 36-year-old, who also has a 23-month-old daughter, Polly, son David, 17, lashed out on Twitter claiming she was being 'stalked online' by a 'loon', who was using the names of her children and their friends to try and build up fake accounts.
Kym said she felt powerless, despite claiming to have told Twitter and Instagram about the problem - adding Facebook were more cooperative.

She wrote: 'Some loon is stalking my twitter to create accounts of my friends and my kids and my kids friends on Instagram!!'
She later warned the perpetrator to stop saying it was 'very very creepy.'

If I meet someone new then great - Catherine Tyldesley

As a beautiful curvy blonde, Catherine Tyldesley probably has no shortage of male admirers.
And the Coronation Street actress has revealed she is now ready to start dating again following her split from Sam Witter.
The 29-year-old soap star broke up with her toyboy boyfriend last month, but claims to be happier than ever.

Speaking to the Mirror newspaper she said: 'I'm so happy at the minute.
'Genuinely – I’m not just saying it. Sam and I are still great friends. It just didn’t work out, but I'm fine.'
Catherine, who plays feisty Eva Price in the show, is now throwing herself into her work and concentrating on herself.
She told the newspaper: 'I’m cracking on with work and if I meet someone new then great.'

Tyldesley also admitted that although 22-year-old Sam was in peak condition as a personal trainer, she isn't that picky.
In a guy, she looks for someone with a good sense of humour who can make her laugh, and someone who is talented or really good at something.
Her ideal man would be Hugh Jackman, who she fell in love with after watching his powerhouse performance in Les Miserables.
Last month, Catherine spoke about her desire to have children, admitting she wanted 'a big family'.

But according to sources, her confession to led to a series of blazing rows with Sam, who was also her personal trainer and business partner.
Friends said at the time that their break-up had become 'messy' as they own a company together, Dream Partners Limited, and had planned to bring out fitness DVDs later this year.
A source told The Daily Mirror: 'They have just grown apart. The age gap was an issue because they want different things.
'Cath is at a stage where she wants to settle down and Sam is still only 22 so he just isn't ready for that sort of commitment.'
The slim blonde started dating Sam early last year and the pair frequently gushed via Twitter their love for one another.

She can do sophisticated! Helen Flanagan

She likes to experiment with her look, which  usually involves trying on different shades of pink.
But on Saturday Helen Flanagan showed she really can switch things up when she wants to – and for the better.
The actress ditched her trademark bun, slipped on a chic blazer and looked the picture of sophistication as she headed to the nail salon.

Opting for smooth tresses, the 22-year-old made the most of her very blonde hair as it fell to her shoulders.

Showing off her enviable figure, which has helped her land plenty of jobs over the years, she wore a pair of skintight jeans.
Elongating them either further she wore a pair of sling back heels, that were perhaps a little too dressy for a trip to a beauty salon.

She completed her look with a cream blazer and a large leopard print scarf which she wrapped around her neck to keep her warm.
Helen looked happy and healthy, perhaps looking forward to an afternoon of pampering.
It seems the WAG is making the most of her free time at the moment as she is gearing up to make her big screen debut.

'Comedy is something that I'd like to get into.'
Helen also revealed that she's open to the idea of doing more reality TV after appearing on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! last year, and says the experience has boosted her self-confidence and helped rid her of her anxiety.
She added to Star magazine: 'I really enjoyed doing 'I'm a Celebrity'... because when I left Coronation Street I wasn't in the best place, and I just wanted a break from everything.
'So when that came up I just saw it as a great opportunity and it gave me my confidence back. It was really nice when people tell me that they loved me in that, it does give you confidence.
'The good thing about reality TV is that you're just being yourself.'
Enjoying the luxury of having her hair done in a salon, it was a different story for Helen before she stepped inside to get a quick polish up.
The bleach blonde was a little less glamorous as she was seen keeping her hair safe from the wind with a high bun as she made her way to the salon after popping into Starbucks.

The sun has arrived! Catherine Tyldesley

The skies of England may still be overcast, but the sun was out on Thursday night thanks to a bright appearance by Catherine Tyldesley.
The Coronation Street star, 29, arrived in fifties vintage style to the British Animal Honours wearing a yellow lace dress by Azagury.
And with her hair pulled back into a retro updo, Catherine certainly pulled off the Doris Day look she wanted.

Catherine finished off the outfit with some simple nude court shoes and a rose pink lip colour.
Joining her at the event was co-star, Paula Lane, who also looked to the past decades for style inspiration.
